Well, I think I may have an easy solution for you. Apply for The Kalamazoo College Global Prize for Collaborative Social Justice Leadership. You could have the opportunity to win $25,000 but the deadline is coming fast (March 8, 2013).
This grant is for any individual, organization, educational institution or group. It can be an existing project or one that you have dreamed up. There are two prizes: regional ($5,000 prize) and global ($25,000 prize).

There is no application fee and no lengthy paperwork to fill out. Just fill in basic information on the on-line form and send in a video from 8-10 minutes. Keeping in mind that the  work/submission must meet these criteria:

*Demonstrate transformational thinking and collaboration in its leadership structure and strategies
*Builds the voices and leadership of those impacted by injustice

*Excite and ignite

As you can see, the guidelines are broad so it gives much room for folks to be creative.
